In 2003, Tony Moore of Mechanicsville, VA was the high bidder and is now enjoying his brand new putting green right in his own backyard!  The green  was designed by golf course architect Dan Maples, with NovaGrass Inc. donating the professional, low maintenance putting surface and Professional Turf donating the sod around the putting surface. Coupled with the John Boy & Billy Big Show Celebrity Golf Tournament, proceeds benefited the Speedway Children's Charities and the Foundation for the Education of Children with Down Syndrome.

Maples is on board again this year to raise even more money for these worthy charities with another Dream Putting Green.  SouthWest Greens, the leader in the home and backyard golf green industry, has been gracious enough to donate the putting surface and installation for the 2004 Dream Green.
